Rewind a chat

Return a project chat and its files to an earlier completed turn.

Choose a rewind point

Rewind is available in an unarchived project chat while it is idle and has a rewind point. A point is a completed turn followed by another turn. Personal chats have no Rewind.

  1. Wait for the coworker to finish and for any engine switch to complete.
  2. Open Rewind and choose a point by its reply and completion time.
  3. Read the confirmation and confirm. The same chat continues, with a marker showing the turns and files set aside.

Bring work back

The marker offers Undo rewind while the files are unchanged. After files change, it offers Ask the coworker to bring it back, which sends a request to the coworker. Rewind and Undo rewind stay disabled during an engine switch.
